Epoch brand refresh & website


Intent

Epoch was looking for a brand refresh that would communicate their position as an international trader and bring together their offices around. It needed to be futuristic and engaging.

The challenge

With offices in London, Delhi, New York and Sydney, Epoch wanted to bring their brand into a new era. Using time zones as a key focus, we had to create a website that moved with the company and kept things running.

Delivery

The solution was a website that lives and breaths. Throughout the day, the colours on the homepage would reflect the location of the sun meaning we would go from day to night and the website would experience a sunset and sunrise. You can change location between different offices to immerse yourself in the time zone they are currently experiencing.

To help navigate the site, I created a geometric illustration style and robot characters to add character to the site. Everything was created with animation in mind to bring the brand to life.


The brief was to keep it futuristic and engaging. Using Geometric shapes became an integral to communicating the history of this young trading company. As a result characters were created as well as scenes to feature throughout the site to aid story telling.
