Samsung Pocket Patrol

Two in three people who believe they can identify a rip are unable to do so when put to the test. With young men 15-39 most likely to get caught up in rips Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) partnered with Samsung and their creative agency to develop an innovative idea that used mobile technology to help promote safety and awareness on Australian beaches.

I was involved in this project as the Lead Digital Designer with Leo Burnett. I was responsible for prototyping through to final delivery of creative assets. Working with a development team at UsTwo we delivered a fully function app that went into use on beaches in NSW and Queensland. The app won countless awards and most notably picked up Gold at the Cannes Festival.
